The Sanctuary is a sacred space for community members to remember who they are; through rituals, workshops, community meetings, book clubs, movement and dance classes, virtual retreats, plant medicine... we have a blast on our healing journey as we witness each other RISE to our unique medicine.
Our community consists primarily of Black, Brown and Indigenous folks, LGBTQ+ and all those who consider themselves misfists. In this space, you belong, you are seen and celebrated for who you are and your uniqueness. We welcome people from all walks of life, ages and spiritual traditions. What we teach and practice is universal—we are not here to tell you how to lead your journey, we are here to supporting you in BEing YOURSELF and reclaim your unique medicine.

Mar is a Marrakech native Brooklyn-based Alchemist and Healing Artist on a mission to assist folks heal, rise and embody their unique medicine. Mar comes from a lineage of healers and medicine people from the indigenous land of North Africa (The Imazighen) and has extensively studied multiple energy healing modalities, community herbalism and African Spiritual Technologies with Ancestor Malidoma Somé.
She is the founder of I See You Wellness and Sanctuary and continues to use her gifts in service to the community.
